HIGH-END HOMES IN ORLAND PARK’S DEER HAVEN ESTATES COMMUNITY
ORLAND PARK, IL, May 24, 2008 - The Village of Orland Park
is home for a new, premier custom home community named Deer
Haven Estates, which will offer 1/3 to ½+ acre homesites
with lookouts, walkouts and water or tree conservation
views. Exclusive custom homes by Flaherty Builders will be
priced starting at $1 million and be filled with luxury
amenities like, granite counter tops, stainless steel
appliances, hardwood or imported flooring and full brick
exteriors.
Deer Haven Estates is located on the south side of 143rd
Street, west of LaGrange Road and east of Wolf Road.
Flaherty Builders offers homebuyers the opportunity to
select a home from its extensive library of blueprints and
then modify them to meet their lifestyle. If homebuyers
desire, Flaherty is prepared to design a luxury home from a
blank sheet of drafting paper as well.
Homebuyers seeking a one-of-a-kind luxury home will be
pleased with Flaherty’s attention to detail and its ability
to construct custom homes finished with hand-crafted

Estates, Flaherty is offering a new sales program. The
“Building Peace of Mind” program is designed for maximum
flexibility, so that it can accommodate a variety of
potential homebuyers. Homebuyers may choose from any of the
five options offered:
1.“Existing Home Sale Plan” – If a buyer’s existing home
doesn’t sell by the time they need to close on their new
Flaherty home, the builder will cover the buyer’s existing
mortgage and real estate taxes for up to 6 months for a
maximum of $3,500 per month. Given that is takes 6-8 months
to construct their new home, this option effectively gives
homebuyers more than one year (12 to 14 months) to sell
their home.
2.“Split The Difference Plan” – Flaherty will cover ½ the
difference between the asking price and sale price of a
homebuyer’s existing home up to a maximum of $20,000. The
home must be listed with a preferred realtor and the asking
price must be realistic in today’s market (verified by a
preferred realtor or appraisal).
3.“Realtor Commission Covered” - Flaherty will cover the
homebuyer’s realtor commission on the sale of their existing
home for up to $20,000. To qualify the home must be listed
with a licensed realtor of their choice.
4.“Get What You Want Plan” – Homebuyers can request up to
$25,000 worth of options/upgrades and Flaherty will pick up
the tab.
5.“More For Less Plan” – Flaherty will subtract $20,000 off
the base price of any new home in any of its eight
communities (individual lot sales excluded).
“We wanted our Deer Haven Estates customers to be able to
pick the option that gives them the most
benefit and reduces the anxiety they might be feeling about
buying a new home”, said Flaherty. “We also believe this
program will help existing home sales by creating some
interest in the resale market.”
Although Flaherty offers beautiful, well-crafted
single-family homes, of equal importance are the village in
which Deer Haven Estates Pointe sits and the schools that
educate its children.
Orland Park is a town of approximately 55,000 residents and
in 2006 it was awarded the title of "45th Best Place to Live

these developments is Orland Square Mall, and the recently
rebuilt Orland Park Place. The major north-south
transportation route is La Grange Road (Route 45), with the
Tri-State (I-294) and Veterans Memorial (I-355) Tollways
close at hand. Five Minutes to the south is I-80. Commuters
can board trains in Orland Park for a 35-minute trip to the
Loop. Drive times to Midway and O’Hare airports are 35 and
